Privacy should feel safe enough for bedtime.

Zuri Tales is a parent-managed bedtime-story app operated by Bytes n Gigs. Parents and guardians control accounts, child profiles, purchases and privacy settings.

Information we collect

We collect a parent’s email for authentication and support. A parent may add a child’s first name or nickname, age, avatar and optional interests or family-story details. We also store reading history, favourites, saved stories, routines and preferences needed to provide the service.

How we use it

We use this information to personalise pre-written story templates, synchronise the family experience, provide reading features and show private bedtime summaries. We do not use child information for advertising or third-party behavioural profiling.

Services that process data

Supabase stores account and application data. Apple or Google and RevenueCat process purchases and entitlement status. Device text-to-speech follows the device platform’s settings. Their policies are available from Supabase, RevenueCat, Apple and Google.

Recordings, downloads and notifications

Family narration recordings and downloaded media stay in the app’s private storage on the device. Zuri Tales does not upload family voice recordings. Bedtime notifications are scheduled by the device and remain under device permission controls.

What we do not do

No advertising or cross-app tracking
No public child profiles or social sharing
No precise location, contacts or child-facing purchases
No live AI story generation in version 1

Parent controls and deletion

Parents can edit or delete profiles and permanently delete the account from Parent settings. Active data is retained while the account remains active. Deletion is targeted for completion within 30 days, subject to limited legal, transaction and temporary backup obligations. Operational logs are targeted for deletion or de-identification within 90 days.

Global availability

Zuri Tales is intended for supported countries worldwide. Privacy rights differ by country. Bytes n Gigs will complete required local assessments, disclosures and consent mechanisms before public distribution in each jurisdiction.
